The Unnao police have registered a case and are on a lookout for the accused. The accused have reportedly fled after they got a whiff that the police are investigating the matter.
Lucknow, October 28: In a deplorable and horrific incident in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district, a woman was allegedly beaten up by her husband and in-laws and tortured for "not giving them a child", said reports. The woman has also said that her husband rubbed chilli powder in her private parts, unclothed her before beating her with a belt and forced her out of the house in such condition. The woman somehow reached the police who helped her make it to her parents home. The woman later went to the police station and lodged a complaint.
